The Great Cause Pause For Applause: North West Charity Awards

June 4, 2018

Time for the North West to Shine!

Whether it's handing out soup and blankets to the homeless or facilitating great conversations about mental health, charities in the North West work tirelessly to improve lives for others. Tackling diverse issues ranging from bereavement, poverty, parenting or assisting victims of abuse, the charities and people behind this work deserve recognition - and the North West Charity Awards were launched in 2017 to do just that!

The two main objectives of the North West charity awards are:

- To promote and raise awareness and profiles of charities and not-for-profit organisations

- To honour, recognise, celebrate and promote outstanding professionals and best practices within charities.

The North West Charity Awards 2018

Do you know a fantastic fundraiser or a tremendous trustee?

Have you been helped by a charity or are you working for a groundbreaking organisation in the North West? If so, please do nominate them for an award  - and celebrate those achievements in style! Hurry as nominations close on 15th June: Nominate a charity or individual

The awards will be held at the prestigious Principal Manchester on Friday 12th October.

Last year 380 charity workers, volunteers and others from the sector attended the inaugural awards. The black tie event was a fabulous opportunity to raise the profile of charities from Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Cumbria, Merseyside and Lancashire as well as celebrate the contributions from key individuals to great causes.
